Adverse Childhood Experiences Training
This is an introduction to ACES - If you have attended other courses addressing ACES, trauma, brain development and resilience there will be overlap with the content of this course
AIMS
- To understand what ACEs are
- Begin to examine trauma informed practice
- Explore triggers that can result in challenging behaviour
- Think through strategies to engage with Children and young people
- Look at strategies to support CYP developing resilience
- To promote relational interactions and kindness
