Aim: This is a multi-agency workshop on the understanding and the application of the HIPS bruising protocol in non-mobile infants.
Who is it for? This workshop is fully funded and open to practitioners and managers; it is particularly targeted to professionals working in: Childrens social care, Paediatricians, Police, Early Years Settings, Nurses, Midwifery, Health Visiting, Primary Care, Family Nurse Partnership and any other professionals working with young babies
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
- To understanding the evidence base
- To know what the bruising protocol says and how it is protecting children
- To develop and improve our relationships for working together
Time: This is a two-hour taught course.
