THIS TRAINING IS FOR PROFESSIOANLS WORKING WITH PORTSMOUTH CHILDREN AND FAMALIES AND WILL FOCUS ON PORTSMOUTH PROCESS AND PRACTICE. IF YOU DO NOT WORK IN PORTSMOUTH PLEASE VISIT YOUR RESPECTIVE SAFEGUARDNG PARTNERSHIP FOR TRAINING

Aims: This is a multi-agency workshop to support managers and senior leadership to understand their safeguarding responsibilities related to concerns and allegations against staff. 

Who is the course for?: Managers and Senior Leaders of staff working or volunteering in positions of trust or considered to be 'working with children'.

Learning Outcomes:

  • To understand the role of LADO and how it fits with your role
  • To know when to refer to LADO
  • To improve skill and confidence in responding to allegations and concerns against staff
  • To develop safe plans when there are allegations or concerns regarding staff working with children.

Time: 2 hours via Microsoft Teams

Certificate: You will receive a certificate on completion of evaluation on line.
